Retro Post: Day 8 - Querétaro, QTO

We are just now catching up on posts to the blog - going for at least one post per day.  We left off with our post from Day 7 and then skipped forward to Day 13.  Here we will in the blanks.

We started Day 8 (Saturday, July 12) in San Miguel de Allende.  We took in the view of this small city from on top of the house of our great CouchSurfing host, Eduardo, and then walked down to a local market for a delicious breakfast of "tortas de milanesa" with before heading out on the road for Querétaro.

When we arrived to Querétaro, we connected with Laura, another wonderful CouchSurfing host.  Laura lives out on the edge of town in a new housing development; we really enjoyed staying with her.  After we arrived, Laura took us out in her car for a tour of the historic center of Querétaro.  What a great time in a great city!
