A real highlight was the restaurant "Tortas Ahogadas Colomos" -- a great recommendation from Nick's colleague Anoush Dekmezian!
After that, we took a tour around downtown Guadalajara where we saw the main plaza and cathedral.
We visited the Teatro Degollado where we got lucky and saw a choir rehearsing for an upcoming concert.

Thank you to April Mardueño who put is in contact with her cousin Alma. We are so grateful to Alma, Miguel y Alejando for their wonderful hospitality! We stayed with them that night and they also took us to visit Zapopan, another city with a wonderful historic center just outside of Guadalajara.
